This accessibility statement applies to the website Ergonomics and You and all its subpages.

Introduction

We want to provide an exceptional experience for every user. We believe in breaking down barriers and ensuring that our website is accessible to everyone, including people with or without disabilities and those who require some flexibility in how they interact with our website.

We recognize that the Internet should be available to all, and we are committed to maintaining the industry standards as specified by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) established by the World Wide Web Consortium’s (W3C) Web Accessibility Initiative compliance that enable accessibility for everyone, regardless of their circumstances or abilities.

We understand that everyone is different, and we hope to include the requirements for all visitors, but we cannot guarantee that every element will be accommodating, and we welcome any feedback to address any issues you may find. We believe that as websites and technologies change so do visitors' requirements and we endeavor to update our site to reflect those changes when feasible and possible.

General

Ergonomics and You are committed to promoting digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We strive to ensure that we are continually improving its services to be accessible to people with disabilities and a user experience for everyone by applying the relevant WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards. We have invested a significant number of resources to help ensure that our website is made easier to use and more accessible for all visitors, with the strong belief that every person has the right to live with dignity, equality, comfort, and independence.

Conformance

This website makes available a user interface that is powered by a dedicated accessibility server. This website conducted a process to implement an automatic accessibility tool to conform as closely as possible to the standards set by the WCAG 2.1 (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1) at the AA level. In addition, we aim to continue amending and remediating the scripts and codes on the website to improve the user experience that the AI-based application might not cover.

Accessibility of this site relies on the following technologies to work with the combination of a web browser and any assistive technologies or plugins installed on your computer, e.g., HTML, WAI-ARIA, CSS, and JavaScript.

Our mission goal is to be able to support the widest array of browsers and assistive technologies possible. We have therefore invested efforts to support popular systems with high market share, including Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Opera, and Safari Voice-over on a MAC. We have also addressed JAWS and NVDA assistive technologies for Windows and MAC.
